Canada’s National Firearms Association is the official voice of Firearms Owners on Parliament Hill

Canada’s National Firearms Association believes in accountability and transparency
and that is why Canada’s National Firearms Association is proud to announce today that
we are the only firearms organization registered as an official Government of Canada
lobbyist group. Canada’s National Firearms Association was registered by the Office of
the Commissioner of Lobbying as of May 22, 2013. Executive Vice President Shawn
Bevins has been named as the responsible officer.

“This exciting new development and important step will enable us to reinforce our
leadership role in firearms advocacy. In addition to having greater influence in
Parliament, where the decisions affecting responsible gun-ownership in Canada are
being made, Canada’s National Firearms Association will be primarily lobbying the
federal government to repeal bills C-17, C-68 and other Order in Council firearm
classifications and administrative rules that ultimately punish law abiding Canadian
firearm owners. Other key issues that we will be lobbying for are the protection of
property rights & the natural right to self-defense. We will also continue to oppose
Canada signing the UN Arms Trade Treaty, ” said Executive Vice President Shawn
Bevins.

Canada’s National Firearms Association is this country’s largest advocacy organization
promoting the rights and freedoms of all responsible firearm owners and users.
