ADVISORY FROM CANADA’S NATIONAL FIREARMS ASSOCIATION

May 30, 2022

Justin Trudeau has announced that his government will introduce legislation banning the import, purchase, and transfer of handguns in Canada.

Other Offenses against the Rights and Property of Canadians are also contained in this legislation. Click here for more information.

This is one of the worst attacks against the rights, freedoms, livelihoods, and property of Canadians in history. No Prime Minister or government can be allowed to virtue signal with senseless legislation over a tragedy in another country, at the expense of the rights, freedoms, and property of Canadians.

The ramifications of this legislation on Canadian firearms businesses would be devastating. No Canadian business can sustain the loss of such a large percentage of its business and inventory, especially after the significant losses inflicted after the imposition of the May 2020 OIC banning 1500 types of legal sporting firearms.

Canada’s National Firearms Association will be moving forward with all the resources available to us including lobbying and court challenges, all the way to the supreme court if need be. We will move in unison with other Freedom and Rights organizations and retail groups across the country to stop this nonsensical abuse of Canadians and the seizure of their private property. We are in this fight for the long run. With help from our members and other concerned Canadians we are digging in for the most important fight of our lives and will stop at nothing fighting for you rights and freedoms. This will be the Act that results in the defeat of Justin Trudeau’s government.

Help us prepare by donating to the Canada’s National Firearms Association today.
