Hunters, Farmers, Sport Shooters Across Canada – Lock Arms!

Standing in Calgary’s historic Legion, surrounded by the symbols of Canada’s military heritage and the sacrifices of generations who fought for this country’s freedoms, Conservative Party of Canada Leader Pierre Poilievre launched his campaign for a ‘Stronger Alberta within a united Canada’.

Among the themes of affordability, energy, and provincial autonomy was a message familiar to firearms owners: lawful Canadians deserve respect, not victimization.

Poilievre did not mince words, criticizing federal policies that have targeted “the lawful firearms of law-abiding Alberta farmers, First Nations, and rural people,” while calling for a future that includes “respecting firearms owners” and ending the federal gun grab.

His message was simple: Alberta’s frustrations are real, but the solution is not to abandon Canada. The solution is less interference from Ottawa, greater respect for provincial autonomy, and a government that trusts law-abiding Canadians once again.

Pierre is doing his part for national unity, and if Carney is looking for ways to cool separatist sentiment, ending the ‘gun-grab’ just might help.
