Once again, the National Firearms Association (NFA) proudly stood as the lone voice for Canadian firearms owners on the world stage. In late June, we attended the United Nations’ Preparatory Meeting of States on the Global Framework for Through-Life Conventional Ammunition Management, held in New York City from June 23 to 27. This was not only a significant international meeting, it was also a high-level attempt to shape the future of global ammunition policy. Now, you might ask: Why would Canada’s leading firearms rights organization be present at a gathering hosted by what is arguably the largest anti-firearms, anti-ammunition institution in the world?
