MP Larry Brock Speaks at Triggers and Bows, Burford, Ontario

This past week at Triggers and Bows in Burford, Ontario, Members of Parliament Larry Brock and Dan Muys met with local constituents to hear their concerns and speak directly on the pressing issues facing firearms owners in Canada.

During the event, MP Larry Brock delivered a passionate and unapologetic address on the rights and safety of lawful firearms owners. He drew a sharp contrast between the rising tide of crime and the federal government’s ongoing focus on punishing the law-abiding, rather than targeting the root causes of violence. With pointed criticism of what he described as the Liberal Party’s “hug-a-thug” approach to public safety, Brock emphasized how responsible firearms owners are being scapegoated under failed ideological policies.

He further warned that a new face at the helm won’t change the course—calling Mark Carney “a new head on the same snake”, and cautioning that the policies threatening firearms owners will continue, regardless of the figurehead.

His message was clear: if you own firearms legally in Canada, you have every reason to be concerned about the direction of this government—and any future Liberal leadership.

♟Why It Matters: The battle for firearms rights is far from over. As history has shown, the Liberals, with their NDP Allies will come at us again. It’s crucial for us to remain strong, stay informed, and maintain a strong front and membership. Together, we can defend our rights and ensure a secure future for hunters and sport shooters across Canada.
