Gun Owners Are Motivated – Another TACCOM has come and gone. TACCOM 2024 (Tactical and Competitive Shooting Sports Show), held in Mississauga, Ont., the weekend of Sept. 6, 7 and 8, is the Canadian firearms industry trade show. There, retailers, distributors and manufacturers
display their products for the benefit of other firearms industry partners, but also the general public, making it unique among trade shows in Canada.
It’s basically a who’s who of the firearms industry in Canada. Wholesalers, retailers, manufacturers and the NFA have been there since its inception
many moons ago. We are there to connect with our members, recruit new members and get a gauge on current public opinion about firearms law and politics in Canada. Boy Howdy did we get an earful. I was struck by several things. Considering the political and legal climate on guns during the last nine years of Justin Trudeau, you would expect people to be pessimistic and cowed. You might expect small crowds, fewer products and less interest,
with the old timers waiting out…
