Saying Goodbye to One of Our Own – Rick Igercich 1961 – 2026 

Though many knew Rick as President of the National Firearms Association, those of us who had the privilege of working alongside him knew him first and foremost as a friend.

These are just some of the moments that defined his time with the NFA.

The events, the travels, the countless conversations, and the many people whose lives he touched along the way. From industry leaders, politicians, and familiar faces – friends old and new, Rick had a way of bringing people together and making everyone feel welcome.

His years with the Association were marked by dedication, humour, and an unwavering commitment to the community he cared so deeply about. But beyond the titles and responsibilities, it was his friendship, his generosity, and his genuine care for the people around him that left the greatest impression.

As we say goodbye to one of our own, we remember not only the leader he was, but the friend we were fortunate enough to know.

Rest easy, Rick. You will be missed.
