Senetor Plett, Defender of Law-Abiding Canadians
As C-21 continues to make it’s way to through to becoming law, Senator Don Plett made yet another plea to rest of the Senate, making the point multiple times that this is simply a bad law, pushed by government as a useful tool for political gain.
Outrageously, the Liberally affiliated senate simply allowed him to speak, with little to no consideration, before invoking a ‘6 hour time allocation’ to halt debate and speed up the process.
We are advised that, sadly, there is an extremely good chance Bill C-21 will be before the Governor General for Royal assent before Christmas.
